Exterminator needed
Can anyone suggest a good exterminating company in Ft. Mill? I'll be moving in soon and want the critters to move out first. And how often do most people have their homes treated? Thanks.

I haven't used them yet but did some research on AAAA Bugman. No BBB complaints in 3 years. Pest Control Services, Termite Treatment, Moisture Control, AAAA Bug Man, Fort Mill, SC I need to give him a call soon as we have some ants and an occasional spider.

A few months ago saw a mouse inside the house, my husband was out of town, called my landlord and said it was pretty common and to just buy some traps and wait for it to bite...I was in tears, didn't know what to do. I was ready to check in a hotel until husband was back. Seriously didn’t want to be in the house with the mouse…. and found one of those business directories and called this company Dodson pest control, the sales person came the same day and was very sympathetic, they came check on critters like 4 or five days in a row and now they come one a month. They spray and all that. I don't know if they are the best, I just know they addressed my concerns fast and were awfully nice and understanding.
Let me know if you want their phone number.

I had a mouse in my house too...bought one of the humane traps but he hasn't gone for it. We haven't seen him a in a few days either. There are a couple of gaps in the doors I need to seal up which is likely how he got in.

MOC,
We used Killingsworth because they have the termite contract on our new house. We were pleased because they treated inside and out plus a quarter acre of land. Saw some dead crickets on the porch the next day, so I know it's working! Most people have pest control done quarterly, but many companies will be make additional treatments at any time if you see pests at no charge if you have a contract with them.
Don't confuse pest control (ants, spiders, etc.) with termite control. A termite treatment or contract is a separate item. Generally, in the South, termites can be a problem and cause damage to almost any structure if it's not treated. Termite inspection is usually done on an annual basis. There are different chemicals for termites than there are for pest control.
