Unless the subdivision has access to a well, drought conditions will put limitations on landscaping. No sense in putting in trees and sod if you cannot regularly water them due to water restrictions.
Sun City has access to well water. They also implemented a large advertising compaign to keep the home sales going.
Sun City is also a good example of what may happen when you try to build too many homes before the sales are made. Del Webb originally underestimated the demand for the larger model homes, and had to go back and amend its plan with the county zoning board.
That would have been hard to do if the homes were already built.

Bretagne sold
Regions of Bretagne was sold to Elauwit Properties. Heard the developers had problems with Wachovia funding.

Always curious about anything being built off Merritt that goes out to Springfield Parkway. Is there anything out there?

Has the developer started to build again or has the bypass caused a valuation issue in this development?
