You would be surprised to find that Charlotte is a very diverse city. There is something for everyone, you just have to look for it. Yes, there isn't alot for teens to do in Ft. Mill, but Charlotte is about 10 mins away. I don't know exactly what type of music you like but Amos' Southend brings a large variety of bands to Charlotte. A lot of bands just starting out. Check out their website.
Amos' Southend Charlotte, N.C.
Don't be negative coming in to your new place, it will only make the experience worse. Give it a chance. You might be surprised.

I sense emo rage....
Look, you can make things great or you can make them poor. Attitude being the driving force. If you think you wont fit in guess what...you won't. If you open your mind and relate to others and learn to listen you will experience more to life and become a better person for it.
Of course how you enjoy your time here is completely up to you.

Fort Mill HS is like any other HS in the country...you got your jocks, preps, hicks, burnouts, dweebs, cheerleaders, goths, emos, etc. Believe me, one day you will look back and realize how stupid those classifications are. I must say that the HS I went to all the groups got a long. Charlotte, as mentioned, is very diverse and FM is a suburb of Charlotte. In addition to Amos' (which can easily be reached via the Lynx light rail), there is Tremont Music Hall, the Visualite, and the Charlotte Underground, and a few other places for live music.

Yeah and I guess, but there's a problem. I already live in Charlotte (North, near Tybola) and there are no emos here or jocks, punks, or goths. There's just dark-skinned kids with really long shirts and listening to wear rap music.
I was asking because I don't drive yet, and my parents can't be driving me around.
I went to the nearby mall yesterday and it was just full of preps, even inside Hot Topic! (I mean, I know it's a poser store but that's a little too much!)

I thought you lived in Florida? Since you are already in the area then you already know what is hear so why do you ask? If you don't want people's advice, then don't ask for it. And what is with the "dark-skinned kids" comment? You are just one of those punk kids who think the world is against you. Aww... poor you. Enjoy this time you have now because as soon as you graduate and enter the real world, reality is going to smack you right across the face and maybe then you will realize how blind you have been all these years.

Let me quote Ferris Bueller: "It's a bit stupid and childish - but then again, so is high school." What do you expect to see at the mall? A bunch of bikers?

Since the OP thinks it is "Tybola" road and that their is a beach in Lancaster, perhaps he needs to not worry about the other kids and focus on his education.
He will have a good school system in Fort Mill and they don't [or at least they did not when my kids went there] put up with any nonsense.
