There was a thread yesterday about a young man, 24 moving from MA I think who was interested in how he might be received in the greater area given that he is gay. Several individiuals who frequent this site, commented, none in a derogatory way as far as I could see to include a comment that I posted. This morning the entire thread is gone, no private messages indicating it was removed for TOS, nothing. It seemed to be on topic as a discussion about the community at large, not unlike many of the postings here. If your the moderator who removed this, it seems that at a minimum, you should at least state your reasons for deleting the thread. The success of this web site is based on the posted content, i.e., the content of value are the thoughtful, sometimes satirical comments posted here. Without the community at large speaking, what's the draw? You owe it to us to return the thread in its entirity, and only delete those comments that would be clear TOS violation. Anyone else here ever seen a thread completely erased?

The moderator did no such thing. You're in the wrong group. The young man did not post to this county's group. He posted under the SC state group. It's still there.
