Default Fort Mill

HI, I was wondering if anyone can answer a few questions for me...
I am really interested in the Fort Mill area, and would like an acre or 2. It seems to be that the least expensive way to go is to buy land and build.(Since the land w/existing houses look like they need a lot of work) I don't have any estimate yet on what it would cost to put a modular on the property (prob. 2000 sq feet), so in the end what is the best way to go? And if we had to build, can anyone suggest where to rent? I don't want my son to have to attend one school and then change when the house is done....Thanks!!

You might want to look into a development called Lynwood Farms. They are the only thing I found with 1 -2 acre lots but they have a builder tie in. They are in teh $350,000 price range.

To answer your questions better.....it would help if you could provide a ball park figure of what you were looking (or hoping) to spend (either for land/or a home with acreage). What I think might be a good deal...might not necessary be for you...or visa versa.

I will tell you that some land (depending on where it is located) could also have restrictions on it (meaning...modulars might not be excepted)
