I am moving to South Carolina at the end of this month and was going to move into an apartment in Lake Wylie, however the buyer who was going to purchase my home got their loan denied by the mortgage company and there is a possibility I may still be stuck with my house here in PA when I move so I now have to find another buyer. Thus, I may have to move into a much cheaper apartment.
I found a place online called Yorkshire Apartments in Rock Hill which are about $250 less a month, but I never visited them when I was down there looking for a place to live. They are about four blocks from Winthrop U. Does anyone know what that neighborhood is like? The place is on Lucas St.
That's a decent area of Rock Hill; pretty much any neighborhood surrounding the school is. I'm not sure of the apartment complex itself, but you should be fine in that particular area of the city.
i used to live in yorkshire apts when i went to winthrop. if you are not a student, you may not like it, as the walls are verrrrrry thin! but it is in a safe neighborhood and the apartments are nice. good luck!
