Manchester Theatres
Can anyone tell me about them? I move to RH in February and there are several movies I want to see in the next few weeks. I've been hitting the AMC on South Blvd and Regal at Stonecrest as I'm up that way, but just thinking if they're clean and reasonably priced, I may start going there.
what do you think?

I'm pretty impressed with them thus far. They are priced about the same as the Regal at Stonecrest and Carolina Pavilion (I just moved to York County from Ballantyne, myself), and they have good concession selections. I've seen several movies there and have been satisfied each time.

Clean and competitive. Never had any bad experiences there.

Figure $30 for two tickets and concessions for a weekend night date. Always clean and police cars out front for a good presence.

There was nothing we wanted to see at Manchester this past weekend so my wife and I went to the other place on Cherry Rd. $11 for two tickets, two sodas, and a popcorn. If you don't mind a 30 yr old theatre, worn seats, not cleaned in between movies, and cheap. This is another option. Also has older movies, but we don't get out much so it wasn't an issue.

Almost forgot to mention...the COOLEST place in York County to see a movie is the Sylvia in York. It's a 100 year old restored theater on Congress St. with a bar in the back. Here's their WEBSITE

Manchester Cinemas is really clean, and the seats are very comfortable, plenty of legroom and cupholders. The stadium seating layout is a big plus.
Prices are reasonable, $7.50 for Matinee, $10 otherwise.

Manchester is fine. Nothing special but not bad either.
