Hey there bobbya739 - not sure if you have tried this yet or not (but just in case you haven't)...there is alot of information in regard to Rock Hill on past/previous posts...it might be worth your while to check them out using the Search feature.
I will add just a little bit though...we're really not that far (in York County, SC) from Lake Norman so there won't be any huge amount of differences...other than Lake Norman is a lot larger lake then Lake Wylie. Also you may find that homes are less than where you had been looking prior...and odds are property taxes will lower as well).
Rock Hill is the largest town within York County. Not sure what or where your business opportunity is in Rock Hill...but if it turns out Rock Hill is not your cup of tea...I would think that you would have no trouble finding other areas within close proximity.
