Does the Lancaster News have the same amount of coupon / sale inserts as the Charlotte Observer? I've found online that can get the Lancaster News for a year for the same price I can get the weekend edition of the Observer for 13 weeks (about $50).

Any other papers that are cheaper than the Observer that have good inserts?

I only want the paper for couponing, so I want to make sure I'm getting the most bang for my buck!

Thanks!

I don't know about the Lancaster News, but the Rock Hill Herald seems to have the same coupons as the Charlotte Observer. I'm not sure what a subscription costs though. We just signed up for the Charlotte Observer delivery fo Friday, Saturday, Sunday editions only for $1.88 / week. Not bad considering the Sunday paper is $2.00 by itself. We signed on for 26 weeks.

The Charlotte Observer has a lot of coupons on Sunday. We wanted to subscribe to the Rock Hill Herald instead of the Observer because we like to read about SC sports a lot, but the Charlotte Observer actually offered us a cheaper price. Sorry, I don't know anything about the Lancaster paper.

Not really sure. I got 1 packet of coupons yesterday in the Lancaster News, if that helps. Sometimes we get 2 or 3, I guess it just depends on the manufacturers.

The Observer has Smart Source, Redplum & P&G coupons. The Rock Hill paper has all the coupons that the Observer has with the exception that their Redplum is a different addition and has a lot less coupons in it than the Observers. The Lancaster paper only has Smart Source coupons. I have a subscription to the Observer, I look at the coupons on Sun. morning and if the Smart Source ones are good I go over to Indian Land and purchase Lancaster Sun. paper for .50. I rarely buy more Observers since they are $2, it's cheaper to just order the coupons that you are looking for from a clipping company.

It was a postcard insert in a store bought Sunday copy.
