Default Fort Mill bound now where to buy???

Hello all, we are relocating to Fort Mill in a few months. We are very excited about our new adventure. We are however not to sure as to what area of Fort Mill would be best for us. Tega Cay side of FM or perhaps the East side near town. Any information would be great and appreciated. Our children are in grade school so that would be our most important factor, schools and great neighborhoods.

We live in Knightsbridge and love it. It is on the "Tega Cay" side of FM in the county limits. The new elementary school just opened (Pleasant Knoll) and we are very pleased. Lots of parental involvement, volunteers and a nice facility. It is great to have a "neighborhood" school. Now everyone we see at the pool goes to the same school. Much more community spirit inducing.

Good luck in your search.

I suggest that you read more into this forum since there are many threads already regarding schools. Your post is very general; your concerns have probably already been addressed in a past thread or two. You really can't go wrong with any of the schools in Fort Mill or Tega Cay. There is currently a public forum (today as a matter of fact) to discuss the possibility and need for a 4th middle school. That should be a good indication that people are flocking to Fort Mill for a reason. There are many communities in Fort Mill and depending on your needs and desires for housing, there is a wide range in terms of price and amenities that should suit your budget. Again, I encourage you to use the Search button, and if there is anything you don't find, come back and post.

Really need to know your price point. Homes in FM range from low 100's to +++.
