Calling All Reserve At Gold Hill Residents
We are building our home here and have an appointment at the design center in a couple days...what can we expect and how long does it take? Any feedback is appreciated

Wow, that bad huh? 50 people viewed and no response. I guess The Reserve is a really friendly community

I am sure the Reserve is a friendly community. This forum just doesn't get that much traffic. Of those that post here regularly, one or two might live in the Reserve if that.

The wood floors are pretty bad, they dent and scratch very very very easily. Lots of people have complained on the forum and in the neighborhood. They look great, just don't walk on them, have children, pets, or furniture, unless you like the distressed look.

People like yourself who have asked about the Reserve and eventually bought there don't come back to this forum to share their experiences, unfortunately. Some may be unable to help you because they either bought an inventory home or a resale and therefore would not be able to respond to your request on a timeline for building or their experience with the design center.
It is a friendly community...just don't expect everyone of the homeowners to be posting on here, reading your post and responding in the time frame you would like. The 50 people who viewed are not all residents so that should not be an indication to you on the "friendliness" of your future neighbors.

Wish I could help. But as other posters have said, we don't live in the Reserve. I looked at their model, but know nothing about the process beyond that. There may not be any Reserve owners on this forum. I don't remember anyone self-identifying with that neighborhood before. Maybe you could get some help from a real estate agent who has been thru the process before?

Although I do not live in the Reserve...I wish I did. I'm very familiar with this development and it's awesome. The homes are beautiful, well constructed, and the swim club is great. Yes, I've heard some negative things about the wood floors, but the positives outweigh the negatives. With the real estate market in a prolonged slump....it doesn't seem to have affected this community. I have friends in this community and they love it. Good luck.

you probably already went to your design appointment but it can take anywhere from 20minutes to an hour depending on how much you want to upgrade. We bought in the Reserve when the market was still busy last year but still had our own appointment with our own design center consultant. We had a very positive experience and the consultant was really just there to help and not trying to sell anything.

I wish I could help, but we bought an inventory home last Dec . Besides the hard wood Floors.. everthing else is great. They are really soft. We love the communty. Love the people, and are so happy we decided to buy in the Reserves. Did they start to build on your house yet?
Wish you all the Luck!
