We own a "golf villa" in Springfield that we currently rent out because we couldn't sell our home in Fl. The community is really nice and the ammenities and activities and wonderful. We looked around the Charlotte (more specifically Fort Mill) area for 2 years before deciding on Springfield. I am sure sales have slowed there (just like everywhere else) but I think the community will eventually be a success (despite Crescent's bankruptcy). We are not sorry that we bought a home in there and after spending a month there this past summer all of the residents we came across only had positive things to say!
