I was curious if anyone knows why so many homes are for sale in this neighborhood? I am sure some are due to the current economic situation but several of these homes have been vacant since late 06 early 07. There are some streets in there that have every house for sale except one or two. A friend of mine purchased a house in Bridgemill in 06 and the house he was looking at in Millstone is still vacant. Just curious what up there.

We are considering building a home in the Cobblestone Neighborhood off Hwy 521 in Indian Land, SC- they offer walk out basements as options. Also considering the engineered hardwood floors. Anybody live in Cobblestone? Is Standard Pacific a good builder? Do they stand behind their work? Any major problems?
This will be our retirement home. We'd like to be sure we're making a good decision.
