Default New Fort Mill Hospital ??

My husband said something about a new hospital coming to the area. As we are not offical residents till next Wednesday I do not know anything about it. Can anyone tell me if it is true and what type of hospital it will be - bed count, ER, etc and when it is expected to be built. I would like to go to a teaching hosptial to train as an X-ray or Ultrasound tech and am wondering if this place might be a possibility.

Thanks all.

Well...in answer to the first sentence...yes, at some point in time there will be a new hospital in Fort Mill (proposed site: corner of 160/21 - across from The "new" Peach Stand). Now...as to when, and who...that becomes a little bit more cloudy...as it is not without controversy. In other words...I would suggest you check out somewhere else for training...at Best you are looking at 2011 for completion.

Thanks. We had some great Ice Cream at that peach stand when we were donw. I thought I saw a hospital sign but did not recall that was where.

Unfortunately, it is another farm (peach) being lost to development.
