I just went to the Salon in Ballantyne Village. I believe that is an Aveda Salon. My gal is Amy. She 1st sat me down and evaluated my hair, before the wash and cut. it looks great and I CAN blow it out and it looks good.
She will be my haircutter from now on.

Default Hair Salon

I went through the same thing, looking for someone who knew the latest trends but didn't charge over $100 for a cut and a highlight; went to a few different places and finally settled on Tiffany at Circa North Salon in Baxter, Fort Mill. Prices are good, she's a real sweetie, and the salon is very nice. Sometimes she'll bounce back between you and another customer, but at the prices she charges I don't mind at all ($65-70 for cut/highlight & style), although with gas shortages and not being able to get to work for less than $4 a gallon I may be trying the color in a box soon

In Fort Mill, try the Posh Pineapple. Linda is good and affordable. I use to pay $150 for my color in Seattle and she charges $97. Nice :-) very happy...

I just tried Posh Pineapple in Fort Mill. Tiffany cut my hair and did a fantastic job! I used to go to Toni & Guy, but my hair cut price went up every 9 months. Plus, every haircut I ended up with at least three different products in my hair, and a huge push to buy them all at the end. With Tiffany, she spent 10 minutes talking with me about what I wanted and needed before she even washed my hair. She asked if it was all right to use one product she thought would help my hair style. When I was checking out, I had to ask to purchase the product. It was very laid back and a great haircut at a great price!

I go to the The Cutting Room on the corner of Tom Hall & Main in Ft Mill. All my life I have been resigned to crying after I get my hair done and Steve is the first one that I have not done this with. My daughter goes to him too and refuses to go anywhere else (she's also 15 and full of teen angst & drama so do the math). He is well priced and truely I have been very happy with my cuts. Even when he told me he wouldnt do a cut because it would look wrong. He was right of course...

In FM so far I have hone to KoHa salon (Aveeda) and it came out nice but def more $$ then I wanted to spend. I guess I was spoiled by having my girl back in NY do my cut, highlights and blow out for 115$...when I went tok KoHa it was about 200$ for that...
I would love to have more info on the SAHM who does hair out of her home. Would she mind you giving me her name and number? Thanks!
