In TX, I paid about $10 for a brow wax. Recently paid that here but wasn't at a 'high end' salon. I guess I'll have to get a part-time job if I start going to a good salon.
I always go to Salon Salon in Pineville 10106-D Johnston Road by Food Lion and they have a location in Fort Mill, 7580 Charlotte Highway. Owners are two sisters from Russia - Madina and Nafisa. They are GREAT!!!
For the eyebrow grooming I would recomend Anastasia Brow Studio at Nordstrom, South Park Mall. Technicians there use same technique as Anastasia, who does Opra's and Madonna's eyebrows.
Hope this would help.
The eyebrow wax is $18 at Dolce Lusso. It is a little bit steep but I would rather pay that and know that they will do a good job than go get a $10 wax and have them look horrid (and that has happened numerous times). My SIL had hers done a while back and whateve they used her eye area just under the brows turned bright red and peeled. From now on, whe always uses an Aveda salon.
My personal Esthetician recommendation would be April Wike, she's located at the Tega Cay Salon on Gold Hill Road in Fort Mill. # 803-548-2963
She does excellent eyebrows....facials..etc.....very affordable....much less than Dolce Lusso.

Their prices are high but they do great work. We got a certificate for a free haircut from there and my fiance used it. They were awesome and did a wonderful job. It's more like a place to go to treat yourself.
My friend owns Hair Design 49 right of 49 just across the border. She has been in the business for over 15 years and I always have her cut my hair when I come to visit.
Not sure on the pricing, but my understanding is that the prices are affordable and the service is great. Many other services offered there as well. At least worth a phone call to check out the prices.
I saw Joanna at Belle Vive in downtown Fort Mill - she did a great job on my cut and highlights. The cost was about average - a bit cheaper than most of the high end salons in Charlotte.
You know, people say nice things about Carmen, Carmen, but I've seen them give some really unflattering haircuts to a work associate of mine. They do exactly what she asks for, but for my money a high end stylist better tell you if what you're asking for is not going to work on your hair. They also give her spiral perms - I don't even know what to say about that.
You may want to try "Hair/Razors" in the strip mall on Tom Hall Street, Hwy 160 East. My beautician is very good.
