Where to find floor plan with big game room?
I have lived in South Carolina (York County, just south of Charlotte) for the last 6 years, transplant from Michigan, and am looking to move, but stay in York County or Lancaster. I am looking for a floor plan, ~2500 +/- sq ft that has:
2 stories
large game room, 400-500 sq ft
2 1/2-car, side or rear-entry garage
master bedroom on main floor
other bedrooms upstairs
large kitchen with snack bar
study on main floor
No luck yet in finding such a floor plan. Anyone have any ideas? I've been searching the internet quite a bit, but no luck.

Look into homes that have a bonus room built above a garage area. Many of the two story homes we looked at in Myrtle Beach-as well as some Capes had them. Beazer had one that was a good sized when we looked. Our cape we own now has a 500ft bonus room we built over the attached garage.

CP Morgan's floor plans are huge. And they have subdivisions in York & Clover.

Try Pleasent Glen. It is a Lennar home neighborhood.

I do not know if they build this in the area you like But see if Ryland Builds the Winyah plan in your area. It has everything except the side entrance garage.

Try Ryan Homes. Their Avalon or Wentworth models have the majority of things you're looking for, I believe. We were looking for the same things and just got back from checking out Fort Mill in York County in August. The two subdivisions we looked at with Ryan Homes were Sutton Place and Fair Oaks. Someone also mentioned that Knightsbridge (an established neighborhood of about 8-10 yrs.old in Fort Mill) also has some Ryan Homes in it. Hope this helps

Check out the Saussy Burbank Baldwin R plan. The kitchen is larger than it looks. We love this house. It also has great storage, which was important to us since we were losing a basement. the one thing I'd do differently if building myself (we bought a spec) is I would enlarge the garage. Garages down here are just too small!
