Red face Preschools in Fort Mill area

Hi,

I've just moved to the area with my family and we will be living in the Fort Mill area. I'm having a hard time finding rating and cost information on the preschools in the area.

Also, I would love to hear some personal experiences with the local schools.
I'm new to this and it will be the first time my twin boys are going into a class. I'm expectedly nervous. Any advice would be great. Thanks, in advance.

Default We just moved with twins to FM too.

HI- Finally I get to say welcome to someone. We just moved last weekend. We love the area so far. My twins are 7 but I also have an older child and a 4 year old that I have been trying to get into a pre-school. Bad news almost everything is booked. I am on the waiting list at Leroy Springs and my husband is checking out a new school at Unity Pres. Have you joined the Charlottee Mothers of Multiples ? I found them to be really great for lots of info as well.

Don't know about preschools, but FM school district has been ranked one of the top districts in the state for years.

Thanks for your replies.

I just found out about Leroy Springs. I've been trying to find out a little more about the costs and such. I think we might try to go check it out this weekend and maybe getting on the waiting list. The cost has been a little shocking to me. I had no idea the expense of preschool.

I haven't joined the multiples group yet but I will be looking into doing that. We've been so busy trying to find a house (we are currently using our families basement apartment) and getting my husband settled in his new job, that we haven't done anything other than internet research.

So far, though, I have to say we are loving it here. Everyone is so friendly and open. Coming from the gulf coast, I thought the people would be about the same. The locals have far exceded my expectations. I've lived in the deep south all my life but honestly feel that I haven't experienced true "southern hospitality" until we moved here. It's truly refreshing.

Thanks again for any help,
M
