Senior activities in Fort Mill area (water, recreation, church)

My 75 year old mother recently moved to the area to be close to our family. We need suggestions for helping her make friends her age. Other than church groups, is anyone aware of good senior programs for her to get involved in?

Check out the Leroy Springs Recreation Complex---they have several senior's groups and there is a great daily aquacize program if she likes water.
