Description: The 249-acre park, which used to be a rock quarry, is one of Miami’s last well-protected nature sanctuaries. Wander down one of the park’s nature trails or over the Mangrove boardwalk. Bird and butterfly walks as well as bat and owl walks are offered. The Oleta River, which borders the eastern side of the park, was once a source of transportation for the Tequesta Indians. Kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats available for rent. The park is also home to the 3,100-yard Greynolds Park golf course as well as Camp Greynolds. The park is known for its campgrounds and golf course, which is used during the hippie fest Love-In yearly in May.

On the weekends and holidays, the park also has canoe and kayak rentals for those who would rather explore on their own.

Description: Named after its founder, Kukuwa Nuamah, this dance workout teaches students of all ages the techniques of African cultural dancing.
