Theater companies are invited from as far afield as Israel, Germany, Spain, England, Scotland, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Serbia, Russia, and Australia, as well as closer-to-home artists from Mexico and across the United States. Albuquerque venues include the KiMo Theatre, the Journal Theatre at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, the N4th Theatre, the Filling Station, and UNM’s Rodey Theatre and Theatre X. Some festival performances are also held at the Lensic in Santa Fe. Ticket prices vary according to show and venue, but some start at under $10; the main events are $18, and others go up to around $25. Buying a passport online for multiple shows offers a saving on individual ticket prices. For example, a passport for four shows costs around $65. Students can buy rush tickets for some events at $5, which are on sale 10 minutes before curtain-up.
