Description: One of the four newspapers in the Lake Tahoe area owned by the Swift Newspaper Group, this newspaper reflects the community it serves and is published three times a week. Founded in 1970, the Bonanza concentrates on local news, local sports, and local politics in the northern part of the basin, covering Incline Village, Crystal Bay, Kings Beach, and Tahoe Vista. The front page is more likely to have a spread on the Incline High School graduation than a hard news story of a local burglary.
