Description: Two blocks north of Jenks’s East Main St. (Tulsa’s East 96th St.), on the west bank of the Arkansas River, is Riverwalk Crossing. You’ll see a rather old-fashioned-looking, black metal archway leading to the shopping area. While there are not a great number of shops, the ones here are unique and interesting—and there are a lot of good restaurants plus a movie theater. Shops you’ll find here include Island Nation, Azur Couture, and Cigar Box.The attractive development is laid out along the riverbank, with lots of room for sidewalk dining, an amphitheater for entertainment, attractive sculptures, and a water feature. The summer concert series is hugely popular, and there are often several bands entertaining in different areas of the shopping center. Also in summer, the Jenks Farmers’ Market is held every Saturday morning in the south parking lot and there are outdoor movies scheduled regularly.
