Description: Dennis Steward is a local expert guide who offers salmon and sturgeon guided trips on the Lower Columbia near Astoria and Nehalem Bay. You can fish for chinook and coho salmon on the Lower Columbia from the beginning of August through mid-September. The cost of the trip includes bait and tackle and cleaning fish. He can take up to four people at a time in his boat. The busiest time of the year is March through August. He also recommends that you bring rain gear, sunglasses, sunscreen, and a sack lunch.
