Description: If you want to windsurf, you can do it here. The 1,450-acre Lake Nockamixon is a popular destination for boating and warm-water fishing. In season, about 3,500 acres are open to hunting and trapping. There are 35 miles of walking trails through forests, fields, and lakeside plus a curvy, non-loop, paved biking trail with a waterfall; this trail is used for cross-country skiing in winter. Ice skating and ice fishing are permitted on the lake. Sledding and tobogganing are permitted in the area above the marina. Modern camping cabins are available for weekly rental in summer, minimum 2 nights rest of the year.
