The hours at the UPS Customer Care Center are terrible, and made it impossible to receive even decent customer service through UPS! My package arrived at the facility at 3:30am on a Saturday. I requested picking up because I needed my package early due to heading out of town. However, due to the facility being closed on Saturdays - (unlike other UPS stores in the same vicinity), I was told I could not pick up my package, neither could UPS transfer my package to a nearby facility that is open Saturdays since the facility is "closed." Obviously, if they can accept packages at 3:30am in the morning (when they are closed) they have help 24 hours that could transfer a package to another UPS location for pickup right around the corner (since UPS service is supposed to be Mon-Sat). My package, which is scheduled for a Monday delivery 9am-7pm, I requested to then pick up on Monday earlier during the day since delivery after 3pm would be too late, but the Customer Care facility is only "open" for pickups for 2 hours per day 4pm-6pm, (What company keeps business hours like that!) Nor could my package be available for pickup at a nearby UPS store location right around the corner, with "normal" business hours until 1-2 business days later (until at least Tuesday!). UPS, why do you allow use of a facility that is only open 2 hours per day and closed weekends when you supposedly service Customers Mon-Sat? - even the US Postal Service is open part day Saturday! Why do you not send your Customer's packages to locations that are serviceable to your Customers, instead of facilities like the "UPS Customer Care Center"? This is not Customer Care, and you should be ashamed to affiliate the UPS name with this center or to mistakenly call it Customer Care Center when it is anything but focused on caring for your Customers.
