Local produced brown, shell chicken eggs from a Vernon Ulery in Cook Twp, Ligonier Pa.,Ulery Farms. Eggs are being re-packed into Giant Eagle, Flavorite brand cartons which original brand names and USDA code info. still visible. Also into cardboard cartons for sales to customers. Cartons are not being identified with the firms full address and pack date as required. Ulery Farms are not suppling a bill with their name and address to retail customers. Violation reviewed with Mark Zimmerman, operator of Hoffer's Ligonier Valley Packing. The Ulerys are to label egg cartons as indicated and supply a bill of sale as required with their name and address.
