    Fan guards in the walk-in units have dust accumulation.

    Return air vents in bakery ceiling have a build up of dust.

    PIC was not aware of all the pathogens listed in the PDA food code. Reviewed with PIC for corrective action.
  • Package Integrity of Food Upon Receipt (46.245)
    Two bottle of Marzetti dressing ( 16 fl oz ) observed to have product levels below cap. Cap on product ajar. PIC pulled product from customer display.
  • Stored Frozen Food (46.381)
    Prepackaged frozen potentially hazardous foods observed held above the load lines in the display freezer units in customer self service area.

    Temperature measuring device for ensuring proper temperature of equipment is not available or readily accessible in deli meat display case.

    Hand sinks have a SS base frame that is not spaced to allow access for cleaning on all sides. Debris observed on floor under sinks.
  • Handwashing Facility Installation (46.822(b))
    Hand sink in the bakery dept had boxes of plastic bags used for wrapping bread and cake take out containers stored on either side of sink. Water observed on packaging from splash from employees washing hands. Splash guards are needed if equipment, food containers, or food is to be stored next to sink. Containers were moved for corrective action.
  • Insect Control Device Design & Installation (46.922(c))
    An insect control device located in produce back aisle near exit door is mounted above pallets of food and has the potential to contaminate food.
  • 3 C.S, 6501-6510 (FEC)
    Food facility operator failed to post an original, valid PDA Food Employee Certification in a location conspicuous to the consumer.

    Paper towel dispensor empty at the handwash sink in the deli area.
