- I have been in the Indianapolis mortgage industry since 1999. The purchase of my home in 1998 aroused a curiosity that led me to seek employment as a mortgage loan officer at a small local bank in the Greenwood area. My previous lack of knowledge as a home buyer made me want to be more of a mortgage loan consultant upon entering the mortgage field. Educating and presenting all options to my clients was my goal in addition to avoiding industry jargon when communicating to clients that, as I recall, intimidated me and confused me when I went through the loan process.
