| Description: | Are you ready to take your love of yoga to a whole new level? Never before has the world needed yoga teachers as now. Our Yoga Teacher Training program is you if your love for yoga is born out of practice. At The Florida Yoga Institute, we help aspiring students develop the skills needed to share yoga with the world. You must meet the following requirements to take our program: -At least one year of yoga practice (at least six months of classes with a certified instructor from a Yoga Alliance registered school.) -The ability to demonstrate an experiential understanding of yoga practice and its benefits. The training is taught in six intensive weekends. You will gain a foundation of the tradition of Raja/Hatha Yoga that includes yoga philosophy, history, anatomy & physiology, breath, experiential modules, plus meditation, business, and personal mastery. You will learn to teach 30 poses, 30 warmups, and five types of breathwork. Upon graduation and certification, you will be prepared to teach in a variety of settings.
