Willow has been studying bellydance for over 17 years and is pursuing a certification as a Personal Fitness Trainer. All classes are level-specific and all material is presented and broken down in an easy to understand manner that will have you feeling great immediately! Classes begin with a stretching and strengthening warm-up, followed by basic movement drills and then move into the dance movements of the week. We end class with a stretching cool-down that incorporates some yoga-type positions that calms and centers the mind and body, leaving you feeling invigorated, refreshed and peaceful.
You will immediately feel the benefits of moving to the beautiful flowing and rhythmic Middle Eastern style music while you stretch, strengthen and lengthen your whole body and release stress and tension. Come dance in a supportive, non-judgemental environment suitable for all ages, and body types.
