| Description: | An actual working winery in Seeley Lake? Yes, we produce several wines including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Riesling, and other specialty wines. Our grapes come mostly from Washington's Columbia Valley, and our process is truely from grape to bottle. Winemaker Thomas McAnally produces wines in both Napa and European styles. French Oak is used exclusively for the soft tannins and rich vanillans that we believe French Oak offers. Out Tasting Room is very small, but cozy, and can acommodate functions for groups up to 16. The Tasting Room and Wine Bar hours vary by season. Appitizers are available on Wine Nights and for priviate functions. When you are in Seeley Lake, be sure to stop by Trail Creek Winery for a unique Montana experience. To get to our winery, take Locust Lane east off of Hwy 83. Follow Locust past the High School, up the hill and past the Lutheran Church. Locust Lane is also called Airport Road. Turn right on Frontier (3rd road on your right after the Church). Follow Frontier until it ends (don't take the Canyon Rd bend to the right, just keep going straight on Frontier). When it ends, you can only go left. Train Creek Winery is just 300 feet after the turn, on your right. We are 2.25 miles off of Hwy 83 and the roads are maintained year around. We look forward to your visit. | |
