Mill Art Center & Gallery, a non-profit community arts center, is in a circa 1827 stone grist mill listed on the National Registry of historic places. The Lower Mill is a unique setting for the arts with galleries and studio / classrooms and art displays throughout the building. The synergy of the Art Center, The Rabbit Room Restaurant (www.theLowerMill.com), the Peacock Oriental Museum, Nigel Kent Photography, offices, studios, and community meeting spaces make this a destination spot. Mill Art Center & Gallery conducts art courses in drawing, painting and ceramics.
