Art galleries and art classes fill the second floor of the Historic Lower Mill on the banks of Honeoye Creek. Mill Art Center & Gallery, a non-profit community arts center, is in a circa 1827 stone grist mill listed on the National Registry of historic places. The Lower Mill is a unique setting for the arts with galleries and studio / classrooms and art displays throughout the building.
The synergy of the Art Center, The Rabbit Room Restaurant (www.theLowerMill.com), the Peacock Oriental Museum, Nigel Kent Photography, offices, studios, and community meeting spaces make this a destination spot.
Mill Art Center & Gallery conducts art courses in drawing, painting and ceramics. Our unique blend of classroom studios and gallery space encourages students to immerse themselves in art, with inspiration from instructors and the art that surrounds them.
