The Downtown Depot features handcrafts from West Virginia's finest artisans and food producers. While the array of products varies, ceramics, handblown glassware, wooden bowls and kitchen utensils, CDs and books, jewelry, prints, photographs and toys are regularly found on the shelves. Food products from West Virginia include jams, jellies, honey, salsas, sauces and pickles.
The Downtown Depot is located at 401 Ninth Street, in the heart of the city and is only two blocks from the Holiday Inn or Pullman Plaza Hotel. Store hours are Monday - Saturday, 9:30am-6:00pm.
Artisan demonstrations are often scheduled on Saturdays. Check the local news for upcoming events.
The shop also offers sundry items usually found in a drugstore - tissues, shampoo, etc as well as soft drinks and snacks. |
