| Description: | The Boca Tanning Club was viewed as a concept store when it opened its doors just three short years ago. Its’ unique concepts were not shared by anyone in the tanning industry. It wasn’t long before we proved the critics wrong and Boca Tanning Club had risen to the top of its game and became one of South Florida’s most popular salons. Since then we often hear the debate over what made us so successful. Some say demographics, yet many salons folded over the past three years with the same demographics. Currently there are 22 tanning salons in Boca Raton alone. Others attribute our success to the 24hr. concept, while others argue that it was the high end beds and reasonable prices that made us soar to the top. Since we’ve opened, many salons moved in and flattered us by emulating different facets of our salon, only to find themselves confused and bewildered similar to a chef that copies an other chefs recipe but missed proportioned the ingredients and was left with a bitter taste. The prototype that was born in Boca Raton on the SW west corner of Palmetto Park and Powerline Rd. (next to Publix), had become too well cherished by its members as well as revered by the industry, not to have duplicated its cells. Today the Boca Tanning Club claims to be the "Worlds Greatest Franchise", based on dollar for dollar and quality of life for the franchisee. The second Boca Tanning Club recently opened this summer in Palm Beach Lakes, with wonderful reviews.
