American Tactical Training Arms Center, LLC. dba Ancient City Shooting Range was formed November 2007 after its founder, Charles Usina, Jr., extensively researched and found that the demand for both public, private and law enforcement outdoor tactical shooting facility was eminent. American Tactical Training Arms Center’s special use permits have been approved and the shooting range will follow BMP F2006 and is currently in the planning and permitting stage with the expectation to begin range development by Spring 2008. American Tactical Training Arms Center will act as a good steward within the State promoting shooting sports by sponsoring youth programs as set forth by St. Johns County 4-H, St. Johns County Sheriff’s Youth Explorer program and local Boy Scouts of America. The shooting range will be opened year round dawn to dusk, 7 days a week. Ancient City Shooting Range (ACSR) is a multi-faceted outdoor tactical shooting range designed to be used by anyone interested in firearms. It is our mission to provide the best programs, staff, and equipment, to fully meet the various shooting and training needs of our members. Besides providing an excellent value to our customers, Ancient City Shooting Range is determined to create an unmatched shooting atmosphere that will add to the enjoyment of every member and employee of the facility. Dedicated to the community, Ancient City Shooting Range strives to support and sponsor community events, as well as host them whenever possible. Our hope is that through the use of our facility, members' enjoyment and appreciation for shooting, continuing education, and for life will be enhanced. Although Ancient City Shooting Range will be the main focus of American Tactical Training Arms Center, ATTAC’s facility will not be limited to a multi-faceted shooting range but a host to other amenities as well. Other onsite amenities will include: 20,000sq ft clubhouse featuring: ACSR Proshop – A 1,200sq ft retail store focusing on firearms, ammunition, tactical gear, clothing, accessories, etc. ACSR Gunsmithing – Full service, licensed and bonded gun repair, maintenance and custom building of firearms on site will be available for its members Mon-Fri. ACSR Armory – A 1,000sq ft DoD Class 5 armory for retail weapons storage as well as range rental guns and ammunition. Classrooms – Our clubhouse at Ancient City Shooting Range will feature four rooms ranging from 500 – 2,300sq ft for multi-purpose use. Our classrooms are available to our members, businesses and general public, for use as conference/general meeting rooms, special events/gatherings, etc. Shooters Grill – 5,000sq ft full service restaurant and catering company providing refreshments and meals to its members, training classes, various shooting competitions and events held at the range on a regular basis. We plan to create an environment of conveniences that surpasses the standard fare for St. Johns County. Ancient City Shooting Range members will have every need met to ensure his/her comfort. The outdoors, with its beauty and Florida weather, opens several additional opportunities. With the capability for a catered event inside, Shooters Grill will make events smooth and easy for the members. The large dining area can convert into a large area, ideal for formal or informal gatherings (i.e. wedding receptions, family reunions, Christmas parties, meetings, etc.). and will be available for exclusive rent to its members as well as two 350sq ft banquet rooms. External facilities at American Tactical Training Arms Center will include: DoJo House – This facility will provide its members, on a cost per class basis, with weekly Hap-Kido and various martial arts training with special use of our in-house gym. “Ready” room – A 1,200sq ft building for the exclusive use of the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Department, 24 hrs a day, seven days a week. Law Enforcement Tactical Training Facilities - Five force-on-force simulation houses presenting different scenarios for tactical weapons training, five story repel/sniper tower and for various other training, a helo pad, lake and airsoft facilities. Civilian/Corporate Training Facilities – Two airsoft simulation houses to be used for the expanding airsoft market as well as corporate teambuilding classes. SOG, International – SOG, International will be under contract with ATTAC to provide instruction and certify state-of-the-art tactical training. SOG, International is an innovative, creative and aggressive provider of all levels of tactical training for Law Enforcement, Military, Private Defense Contractors and Corporate Security.
