| Description: | Our business is now 27 years and serving 3rd generation visitors. We have 40 snowmobile rentals, 2 snowcats, office and storage facilities and inventory not listed here. The area of operation is unique is that it is located on the main Hwy. 395 between two of the finest ski areas in California. The operating area is approximately 50 square miles and includes exclusive commercial use of a log cabin warming hut in the backcountry. Our season is approximately December 15 to March 15 or sometimes early April and as late as May 1 with 4 feet of snow remaining. Because of our location we are able to offer a diversified ride program, whereas our competitor is restricted to mostly guided tours due to their terrain. Our snowmobile operations include backcountry guided and self-guided tours, and a family ride. This ride takes place within the staging area of over 500 acres. Our guides are certified CPR/1st Aid; however, most of our visitors opt for the self-guided tour to travel at their own pace in smaller groups. We have 5-9 part-time staff.
