| Description: | Alexandra's Tea Room and Gift Shop offers traditional three-tier tea service by reservation, Tuesday through Saturday between the hours of 11 a.m and 3 p.m. We can host special events for up to 30 people. Events we have hosted include, wedding and baby showers, Red Hat meetings, book groups, birthdays and children's parties, Girl Scouts, garden clubs, etc. Special menu pricing is available for large groups. Menu selection changes each month. Our Tea room is a renovated turn-of-the-century home in Springdale PA. Springdale is also home to the Rachel Carson Homestead. We take great pride in the relaxing atmosphere, delicious food, loose leaf tea selection and first rate service we provide to our customers. We invite all to stop by and look around. Whether you reserve tea or not, it's a nice location to visit. Free on-street parking as well as private parking in the rear off Walnut Street. Please come and visit with us. | |
