The owner, Verena Zbinden, originally from Switzerland, came to Marfa to retire. She soon realized that the town lacked a small daytime restaurant with healthy food. squeeze marfa offers fresh juices, smoothies, sandwiches and a daily homemade soup. Not to forget the strongest coffee in town! Zbinden's father, Willi Vollenweider and now her brother Hansueli Vollenweider with his wife Marianne are in the chocolate business in Winterthur, Switzerland.
