| Description: | Mercy Medical Center Department of EMS Education is a department that has been training the EMS community since 2004. We offer a variety of continuing education programs for Massachusetts and Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technicians. We are currently accepting applications for the Emergency Medical Technician-Basic program. Learn the skills necessary to become an EMT-Basic in as little at 3 months. We also provide CPR training and educational programs for current Emergency Medical Technicians. We also offer EMT-Intermediate and EMT-Paramedic training programs. A current EMT certification is required to enter the EMT-I or Paramedic programs. Classes are located at the Providence Hospital.
