| Description: | The Homestead Art Club (HAC) has been in been serving the art community in Florida City since 1940. HAC is a volunteer organization running a gallery in the Prime Shop. If you are a collector, drop by and see the wonderful pieces on display for sale. If you are an artist, HAC serves both as a sales outlet and as a source to get to know other artists in the area. If you are neither artist nor collector, the gallery is still a great place to drop by and browse. One of the best times to do this is during the monthly “Art in the Afternoon” sessions. Displays of Florida artists' works, lessons, free demonstrations, potluck and a meet the artist event. Usually held on the third Saturday of every month, but schedule sometimes changes to accommodate special show receptions and awards. Check with the club for current month's schedule. | ||||
