| Description: | The Culpepper Inn was built in 1935 by the Culpepper family and was later turned into a bed and breakfast in 1993. The Inn features 4 luxurious rooms in the main house, each with their own bathroom. There is also a suite over the Carriage House with a private sitting room, king size bed and large bath. The Magnolia House features 6 guest rooms with queen size beds, private baths, small refrigerators and microwaves. The Tavern Room is open to all guests staying at the inn with a big screen TV and DVD player as well as a place to get together with other guest. A gourmet breakfast is served on the sun porch or out by the pool - weather permitting. The beautiful back yard is home to an in-ground pool, fish pond and is a prefect place to hold an outdoor wedding. The Inn is within walking distance to downtown and the waterfront. Located within the historic district of Elizabeth City, the Culpepper Inn is a great week-end great away or an extended stay home away from home. | |
