| Description: | Lee Silbert Burgess, queen and president of Horse of a Different Collar Studio, has been a Tampa Bay Area artist for more than 20 years. No, not a famous artist, just an area one. She has hand-painted furniture that is featured in BayFront Hospital's annual auction fundraisers, and has recently painted the wall mural at Canterbury School's Marine Science Center. Portraits and caricatures are a specialty as well, and Lee has sketched graduating senior portraits for Canterbury for more than 6 years. Additionally, logo design, illustration, graphics and advertising using Photoshop and Illustrator are also in her repertoire. She has created art electronically since 1984, back when floppy disks were 8" across. While she didn't put the 'free' in freelance, her prices are reasonable, her work is quickly and, if she may say so herself, is well done. | |
