| Description: | We are a welcoming community of faith and fellowship, and while many churches still continue to turn away our gay and lesbian brothers and sisters in Christ, we are a church that welcomes ALL into the life of the church. Our desire is to be a church where no barriers will ever attempt to separate us from the love of Christ. Christ First is made up of a diversity of people. We try to incorporate this diversity into our worship. We have a service that blends many aspects of the worship time. We use music from varied genres to find a bridge. We begin each Sunday with praise and worship music at 10:45 am, followed by worship service at 11:00 am. We have a loving and caring Pastor, Reverend Monica Ledford as well as a wonderful ministerial team and staff. We have communion every Sunday. Our communion is a very personal experience. You are invited to participate whether or not you are a member of Christ First or any other church. Following partaking of the elements you are invited to share a short personal prayer. No matter what your worship background is, we hope you will find something familiar in our service. Some people call us independent, some interdenominational and some non-denominational.
