| Description: | The Sugar Grove Farmers market links local farmers and community groups along with local businesses to the residents of Sugar Grove, IL and surrounding towns. Join us every Saturday, June through September. We always need vendors who have fresh produce or canned or home made items. If you play a musical instrument and would like to perform at the market, let us know. Remember to shop local and to help your Illinois farmer when you can. We are open come rain or come shine. A market information meeting is being held Monday, March 9 at the Sugar Grove Community House at 7 PM. Any one interested in obtaining information about this year's market is most welcome to come and meet with us and pick up this year's application. Sugar Grove is a western suburb of Chicago and is located near Aurora, IL. The market is held in the Village of Sugar Grove Parking Lot located at the corner of Rt. 30 & Municipal Drive and is open to everyone! Fresh produce, bakery items, eggs, meat and wine are just a few of the items you will find on hand at the weekly market. Come and enjoy and a beautiful day meeting nice people in a rural community. Parking is across the street from the Village Hall and we have volunteers on hand to help you if you need help caring packages or getting around the area. So don't miss an opportunity to come out and buy fresh items this summer. We will be looking for you. The Volunteers of the Sugar Grove Farmers Market invite you and your family to come visit the market on our opening date of Saturday, June 6th. There will be many activities and there is still time to fill out an application if you would like to be a vendor. Look for our ads in the Elburn Herald and get a free farmers market shopping bag if you bring the ad with you to the first market.
