I am a real estate professional, having been buying and selling real estate on my own account since 1970. I brought my re-hab business to Hawaii in 1979 and became a Realtor in 1989. In 1993 I created, and still operate the Big Island Real Estate UPdate daily email broadcast; which, to date, has never been copied or duplicated. The UPdate provides the same MLS data for new listings, sales and price changes available to Realtors the day they are posted. Whereas the UPdate is mainly a service for buyers, I have recently created the Hawaii Listing Team with my partner, Sara Hartwell. We are both Broker's In Charge at Koa Realty, Inc. in Holualoa on the west side of the island of Hawaii (the Big Island). The purpose of the Hawaii Listing Team was, and is, to create a more responsive listing experience for sellers of property on the Big Island.
