| Description: | Atlanta Concrete Coatings, stains and epoxy. They are only as good as the preparation which goes ahead of their installation. Many claim to have fast installs, quick cure times, etc, using "Polymer Coatings", (Plastic). REMEMBER what mom always said.... You can only choose two out of the next three words. (Good, Fast, Cheap). What may look good today does not guarantee long term success. There are NO long term studies on the adhesion or lifespan of plastic floors. None, zip, nada. We do not use plastic floor products unless the temp is under 50 degrees and the client has to get back in service within a day or so. No warranty in these instances. Our firm is based on a customer-centric philosophy. Since we are not a franchise, we can choose to utilize the finest in preparation equipment, materials and techniques. Longevity comes from proper preparation. Period. We own a series of dust-contained floor grinders, special concrete dust vacuums, (concrete dust is smaller than drywall dust), Planetary diamond grinders with vacuum exhaust to ensure smooth surfaces and proper surface preparation. For harder floors, we OWN a floor shot blaster with a special complimentary self cleaning concrete floor vacuum. If we work indoors, we OWN a special self contained HEPA filtration system which can either recycle the air indoors or we can run ventilation tubes for outdoor exhaust. Prepping floors with muriatic acids is NOT a long term solution. Often, the installer will not properly neutralize the acids, leading to rapid failures of coatings. Our installation system has ensured floors which will last for decades and CAN PROVE IT. Our specially engineered epoxy is 4X more expensive as standard 100% solids epoxy due to its enhanced molecular ring bonding. Drop a wrench on it and it will not chip. Once the material is fully cured, it is many times harder than the concrete below it. AND... every installation recieves DOUBLE the amount of material to ensure a thick, rich looking floor. One where any flakes appear to sit within the coating, not atop of it. Hot tire pick up is IMPOSSIBLE with proper preparation and installation. Only epoxy adheres to concrete better than any other coating. Many polymer (plastics) floors use a thin coat of epoxy as a "primer" and then place their plastic atop of this. Delamination will occur mostly between the plastic coating and the epoxy "primer". We manage many "re-dos" for failed "Polymer" floors. They are pricey due to the demolition and re-preparation required to "fix" these cheap installs. Commercial or residential, we carry all insurance coverages required for your peace of mind. We can also STOP the chalky white substance coming out of your floors and walls for once and for all. The #1 issue with stains and floor coating failures is due to high moisture vapor emissions.
