Ground Zero Rescue Missions provides crisis and long-term shelter, food and clothing, counseling and transition to work programs for the homeless in Coffee, Dale and Geneva counties in southeast Alabama. The goal of the mission is to rescue and completely restore the homeless to independent living to help end the perpetual cycle that causes this condition. We provide a 90-day, christian theology based rehabilitation program, and numerous other services free of charge to any in need regardless of race, ethnicity, gender or religious affiliations. Our mission relies solely upon donations from individuals, business and civic partners, ministry partners, and other organizations. Ground Zero Rescue Missions began providing shelter services following a devastating F4 category tornado which left so many in need of assistance.
