| Description: | For over half a century, Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara, a United Way agency, has provided habilitation and supportive services to people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities of all ages and their families. We are dedicated to maximizing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities by providing them the resources to reach their greatest potential including training, job placement and employment support, recreation (youth and adult), service coordination, school to work transition, day programming, clinical services, self-advocacy groups, and residential opportunities. A new offering in conjunciton with Niagara University will bring classroom and real-world experiences, along with hands-on use of computers and other technology, to individuals with developmental disabilities who are enrolled in pre-vocational and day programming at the agency at the university’s Academic Complex. More than 800 individuals lives are enriched through the programs at Opportunities Unlimited each year.
