Willow Consulting specializes in assisting rural agencies in program development through organizational management, record keeping,and grant research. In addition,training in cross-cultural competency is also available. Rural Workshop development and coordination is also provided.
Willow Consulting was born after Valerie realized she enjoyed working as a project coordinator and administrator, but could only find these employment opportunities in Urban cities of Alaska-which she could function professionally-but deteriorated spiritually.
Willow Consulting embraces the culture of Rural Alaska by providing excellent historical research and insightful ethnological information from the perpective of a true Yup'ik professional.
Willow Consulting will work to find ingenious opportunities for village growth that embrace economic stability while strenghtening local tradition and custom of the Yup'ik community.
